We had a great time on our tour and were very happy how Sue was quite patient with us and took the time to explain things like how to get an IC card and how the trains worked so we could find our way around in addition to actually taking us on our tour. We got to see things that we likely would not have done on our own and definitely learned more about them than we might have otherwise. Junko supplied a comprehensive itinerary before we arrived and changed it slightly because of some building works around Imperial palace and it being a very hot and humid day. Chiyoko had kept in touch before our tour and we had worked out our itinerary months before arriving. She met us as we disembarked our cruise ship at the port and escorted us to a luggage storage area in town. From there we toured many beautiful areas and had lunch. Toured more and then picked up our luggage and traveled by train to Tokyo where Chiyoko escorted us to our hotel accommodation. At all times Chiyoko was smiling and fun to be with. Amazing Tokyo guide We had the best time with Shigeo! He was knowledgable, taught us about the Japanese culture and was very accommodating. We could never have found the lunch and dinner spots that he took us to, they were amazing - we had the best food and were shown how to cook and eat it the Japanese way.
