It was our first trip to Japan. We participated in this tour especially because I wanted my children to communicate with a local person and learn Japanese culture from a local. It was amazing. We established a very good bond with Hiroshi San. We were all amazed by his energy. He was extremely polite, sincere, cordial and well-planned. Emiko really made an effort to find some things that our daughters (ages 5 and 9) specifically would enjoy, and found some great places to stop for lunch on our two days together. We really enjoyed talking to her and having her with us the first two days of our trip was a great way to get our bearings in Tokyo, having her show us around for the first couple of days. She went above and beyond - she helped find an eye doctor to see our child on short notice when she had an injury one of the mornings, and she also helped us locate the office to get a PASMO card (even though they were said to be sold out) which made the rest of the trip easier on us. Emiko also helped with giving us directions and recommendations for some of our plans later in the week. She had been our friends' tour guide 12 years ago and we're so glad they made the recommendation for us to meet Emiko as well! It's an excellent initiative, I was able to visit lots of things in a short amount of time thanks to my guide, as well as the some technical issues I encountered. :The name of the guide is Mayuko.  

In the weeks leading up to our trip, we were in constant communication with Yuji and his wife. They have a child the same age as our children, and they advised us as to which neighborhood would be the best to stay in based on our interests (Katsushika City). Unbeknownst to us, the neighborhood that we were previously booked to stay was a much less desirable neighborhood for families. When we arrived, we met Yuji and his family for breakfast and then went to two of our favorite playgrounds (Oyata-Minami Traffic Park and Kamichiba Sunahara Park). Afterwards, Yuji invited us back to his home for lunch. Throughout the rest of our trip, we shared photos of our trip and he and his wife gave us more advice and on the last day, we met up again and went to Crep Tsukiji for some art play. Overall a wonderful experience and we now consider Yuji and his family good friends. Hopefully, we can return the favor one day and host them in our home country. :The name of the guide is Yuji.

Kiyo estuvo con nosotros muchísimo tiempo, siempre con una sonrisa y dispuesto a resolver todas nuestras dudas. Habla español fenomenal, además tiene mucho sentido del humor. Fue el mejor guía que podíamos tener para nuestros primeros días en Tokio. Conocimos la cultura japonesa de primera mano y la experiencia en un restaurante de Kaiseki fue una entrada por todo lo alto en Japón, me encantó porque seguramente nosotros solos no hubiéramos ido a un lugar con ese encanto. Yumiko toured us around the Senso-Ji temple area, explaining both the Buddhist and Shinto customs and the history of the area. She seemed to know everything! Without her knowledge and timely patter, it just would not have been the same. Second experience was lunch at Tansouan Kenjirou, a local restaurant with no tourists except us! Yumiko was personable, knowledgeable, and clearly had fun dragging us around! If she is like TFGs other guides, you have a fantastic organization. Many thanks!
