Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima giornata in compagnia della nostra guida Tatsuya . Ci ha contattati prima della nostra partenza e insieme abbiamo concordato l'itinerario. Tatsuya Ci è venuta a prendere in hotel e ci ha accompagnato fino alle quattro del pomeriggio, visitando tanti posti belli, aiutandoci con la lingua per comunicare nei negozi e per pranzare in un ristorante a Ginza Noodles come desideravamo. Our experience with Tokyo Free Guide was excellent. Our first day in Japan started with our guide Dai meeting us at our hotel and taking us to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden to see some of the first cherry tree blossoms in Tokyo and to admire the traditional Japanese gardens in the centre of the park. Then it was onto Asakusa to enjoy Ramen in the kabuki neighbourhood, followed by the Tokyo Sky Tree - really the only way to appreciate the size of Tokyo - and Sensoji Temple. We finished up at Ueno Park , no blooms yet but we are oriented to visit again later in our stay, plus we got our bearings for visiting the Tokyo National Museum and the nearby neighbourhood of Yanaka. We really benefited from all the work that Dai had put into planning our itinerary (after learning our interests first), both in terms of what we saw, and in getting comfortable travelling around on the Tokyo rail system. We would highly recommend Tokyo Free Guide to anyone planning a visit to Japan. :The name of the guide is Daisaburo.

I am so grateful for the service provided by Tokyo Free Guide! Misako met with us on our first full day in the city and showed us how to secure our metro pass and navigate the metro system. She showed us great highlights of the city, like the views from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and a bird's eye view of the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, Tokyo Station Plaza, and the Imperial Palace Garden. We had a great sushi lunch, which finally converted my boyfriend. He now enjoys sushi and I am so happy about that! We covered a lot of ground in our six hours together, and Misako was able to share some great historical facts with us, like why there are no garbage bins on the streets of Tokyo.
