Wanted to thank you for the great tour I had with your company, with Yumiko Takada. First of all, I heard about your service from a friend who recommended me. Exactly as he said, the service is wonderful. Starting from the friendly user registration, following the communication till the trip, and of course, the trip itself.
Yumiko was so nice, welcoming and great guide. We have been together at Asakusa and she explained the hystory of the place and also the tradition. She also exposed me to local food and I really had an interesting experience!
On top of all, I enjoyed talking with her about life in Japan, traditions, the differences and the similarity between Israel and Japan, family and other issues. So, thanks a lot to Yumiko and to your great organization that open his heart, voluntarily, to the tourist in Japan!

Fantastic Service!
Our guide for the day, Naoko Karasawa , was wonderful and got our trip off to a great start! Naoko was so kind, helpful and eager to share her love of Tokyo and it's history!! She made sure to cater our tour to meet our specific requests and also showed us some hidden treasures! Having her to help us navigate and learn the subway on our first day was invaluable! My husband and I truly enjoyed her company, knowledge and assistance! What a great service!

Hideko was AMAZING!!!! We loved her and our day with her was perfect! She blew us away right from the start when she met us at our hotel lobby and had prepared notecards for me to have during my stay in Japan that explained (in Japanese) my seafood allergy. This was so thoughtful and incredibly helpful as I navigated food markets and restaurants. Hideko also did research on ramen places that didn't use seafood, as I really wanted to enjoy that food while in Japan. She took us to the Meiji Shrine and Sensoji Temple, which she was incredibly knowledgeable about. We enjoyed hearing her talk about the significance of every detail of those historic spots. Hideko also knew lots of hidden gems that she took us to that we never would have found on our own such as a lookout spot that gave a great view of the city and a gourmet food market where we purchased tons of great treats. Hideko was a pleasure to spend the day with and we plan to recommend TFG to everyone we know planning a trip to Tokyo!

I cannot recommend Tokyo Free Guide enough, and am so happy I found the website. The information was very clear each step of the way, and I felt lucky when I was assigned Hitomi for my specific date. Hitomi was honestly perfect for me, so friendly, approachable, and such fun! She prepared very well for our trips, providing detailed itineraries well ahead of my travels, yet maintaining flexibility for the weather and my energy levels. We were able to talk about a great host of topics, not limited to the spots we visited, but she also shared about her day-to-day life in Japan, her family, and culture and politics in a wider sense. For me, the TFG service is better than a professional guide, due to its flexibility with tailored itineraries and timings, and also the versatile conversations and sights we visited. I am so grateful for Hitomi's time and kindness, and the services of TFG that made us a match. Please keep up the hard work TFG team!
