We had a wonderful day with Miki. Her warm hospitality made us immediately comfortable in the large city of Tokyo and it's complex transit system. She chose activities that gave us a glimpse of the modern Tokyo as well as it's history, while catering to our interests very well. Since we had indicated we wished to try foods Japanes in Tokyo enjoy, she chose a very nice restaurant where we had grilled fish and other traditional Japanese foods for lunch. We appreciated her care and consideration that extended past the day of our tour. Miki texted us the day typhoon Hagibis was landing in Tokyo to ensure that we were alright, and had made arrangements to continue our travels in Japan.
